We get our name because of how we name our animals. Every year we choose a new work of Fiction and name our lambs from it. Some past examples are; Toy Story, Disney Princesses, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter and Lord of The Rings. We are a small family farm that raises Jacob, Cotswold and Shetland sheep. All of these breeds are rare breeds and we are please to be working on the conservatio
n of such wonderful breeds. Jacob sheep are a small breed, piebald (multi-colored) and polycerate (multi-horn 2 to 6) they have a medium staple wool length and are wonderful to spin. Cotswold are a large breed sheep with a long wool staple up to 12 inches. Traditionally their wool was used to weave tapestries. They are an English breed of sheep descending from the English Hills of the Cotswolds. We show both breeds at the Tunbridge Worlds Fair located in Vermont in September every year. We also sell our meat directly from the farm (frozen). We use a local butcher USDA certified to process our animals.
