East Dover General Store - Yesterday was the soft opening and it could not have gone better!

BEST homemade sausage patties in the breakfast sandwich we have had! Worth the trip if you’re in the area.

Hi everyone.

Below is the new East Dover General Store page. Please follow the new page if you want to keep up to date on the store. In the new year the old EDGS page will be deleted.

The store shelves are ready to fill! In addition to conventional convenience items you might expect to find at a general store, we are looking to carry many local options as well. Please email us at [email protected] to connect.

October update: equipment is in, shelves are going up and permits are in place. We Shifted around the configuration of the building so they can have seating inside the store. Dave and Lindsey are looking at a Thanksgiving opening. So excited for this change in our little Village, stop in and say hi if the door is open.

Store Update: Lindsey and Dave have been hard at work putting everything in order at the store. We are so excited about the new and improved East Dover General Store! Yes they are going back to the original store name. Stop by say hi and leave thoughts in the suggestion box outside the door. A second bulletin board will be going up as we found there is a lot of interest in East Dover these days.

Store update: Lindsey and Dave Rosso, Fairview Farm, are taking over the East Dover General Store. They are in the process of getting the equipment they need and building out the store. There will be a new Facebook/Instagram page and we will share that information as we get closer to the opening. We wish them the best of luck in this new endeavor. Stop in and say hello.

Coming soon - Over the next couple of months the store will be transitioning into a more community centric general store. We are working with a local family to provide meat, chicken, raw milk, eggs, maple syrup and honey, (all local) and much more. There will also be products from the current store. We will be focusing on the the local community and what they are interested in purchasing along with items that our tourists are searching out, as well. And yay - we are going to have a crèmee stand in East Dover!

A huge thank you to Janet who has done an amazing job over the last three years and is now working with the new proprietors.
