NATURAL WOOL SOCKS ARE IN- Directly from our flock of purebred Romeldale- CVM sheep which are raised and bred in East Durham, New York.
Shorn at our farm, yarn spun at Nobletown Fiber Works in Hillsdale, New York and knitted in Nelson, Minnesota at Northland Woolens. An honest American product. These socks must be hand washed and dried flat but will last you years if cared for properly like your favorite wool sweater. Perfect for hiking, skiing, and style. Every year I make these socks from the skirtings that just aren't perfectly pristine for my hand spinning fleeces which I sell in the spring. Because we don't slaughter our sheep for business we use every part of the shorn fleeces we can to not be wasteful and to help cover the costs of keeping our flock safe and healthy. Our flock maintains our New York farmland by fertilizing and clearing invasive plants before they take over. You can purchase these socks this coming weekend in Kingston, NY FIELD + SUPPLY Sheep photo credit: doemalloryphotography
