This little hen was hiding in the back of the barn stall sitting on 15 eggs. They hatched last night and we moved them to a safer cleaner space. 💗

Many customers ask for honey with comb. We do not harvest honey with comb due to the immense stress that it causes the honeybee. It takes a huge amount of energy and resources for honeybees to rebuild that comb.

Please do not buy plants that are treated with neonicotinoids!

Neonicotinoids, often called "neonics," are a widely used class of synthetic insecticides chemically similar to ni****ne. They are systemic pesticides, meaning they are absorbed by the plant and transported through its tissues, making everything from the roots to the nectar toxic to insects including honeybees. They act on the central nervous system of honeybees by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, leading to overstimulation, paralysis, and death.
