Ben is out getting after some of the last spraying we have for the year! Pictured here are some edible beans (or dry beans, specifically Pinto Beans) that we are spraying to make the field more uniform so we can harvest it without some of the beans being too dry and some being too wet. In 7-10 days, we will hopefully be harvesting this field! . e

We are looking for a couple part-time semi drivers during our 2025 harvest season. Applicants must have a valid drivers license. We have both manual and automatic semis available. We’ve gotten anywhere from 2.5-5.0” of rain in the last 48 hours but we always trust in the promise from our Heavenly Father. Thankful for the rain, even if it seems a bit excessive at times.

The last several days’ weather has been absolutely amazing for early-April and we’re making progress on with the crop going in first. Our farm cat also had her batch of kittens on Sunday!

Not often do we see a black bear in our area! Just north of our farm we saw this guy/gal out for a stroll in a neighboring sugarbeet field.
