Local friends - have you admired the gnomes I make and wanted to give it a try, or make some other fun creation? Space is available in the class we are holding on Wednesday, April 22nd from 6 to 8. No experience is necessary. Lauren Loeffler, from Fearless Felting, will provide you with guidance and everything you need to take home your finished piece. Cost is $40.
Seating is limited, so let me know if you would like to take a mid-week break and join in the fun.
Class is held here at Kraussdale Alpacas.

Officially 24 years on April 9th. All 4 of the alpacas here with me at the shutter are descendants of either Cusco (the little light one) or Pacha (the black one).
I love alpacas now even more than when I started the farm. Like life itself, it has its ups and downs, but I am grateful everyday for these amazing animals! The picture shows Maggie Wright with the first alpacas arriving on the farm!

All set up at the Eastern Alpaca Jamboree in Harrisburg! Looking forward to a great weekend of showing alpacas and catching up with friends!

As work on the farm gets busier with the onset of nicer weather, the schedule for the store and farm visits will move to twice a month. For March, we will be open on Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 22nd. In April, we will be open on Saturday, April 18th and Sunday, April 26th.
If you want to see fluffy alpacas, come before April 25th!

Volunteer opportunity!!! Would you like to learn more about the alpaca world and meet amazing alpaca folks? The Eastern Alpaca Jamboree, on April 10-12, is looking for volunteers. The show is held at the Harrisburg Farm Show Arena. Sign up for ring steward or gate keeper, these two tasks really are super fun to do and the only super power needs to be a willingness to help out! Looking to visit?

For January and February - we are open on Saturdays from 10-4.

Beginning in March, we will be open twice a month with dates to be posted.

As always, if you need to stop in to the store, call or email Maggie to set up a time.
