Life has been extra busy lately—end of the school year, graduation prep, town events, farm work, and family.

I see the light at the end of the tunnel and I’m looking forward to slowing down a bit this summer.

The farm stand is open, and new farm-fresh goodies are coming soon. Thanks for bearing with me.

For now, I’m taking a lesson from River: find a shady spot and enjoy the quiet when you can. 🌸🐾

I’m officially in FULL senior season at work, which basically means field trips, prom chaos, and teenagers suddenly realizing deadlines are real 😵‍💫

So if I’ve been a little quiet with the farm stand lately, just know it’s temporarily on the back burner while I survive the final stretch of the school year. BUT… we’ve only got a few weeks left, and then it’s full speed ahead with farm projects, restocks, and all the fun summer things at Merryweather Farm 🌿☀️

We are still open daily from sun up to sun down and stocked with all the usuals at the farm stand!

I have a pretty great view from my s**t pile and a pretty great s**t pile helper! 🌅🪏

Merryweather Farm had a proud moment yesterday 💛

One of our Middletown High students represented the farm during a Vo-Ag presentation, and absolutely nailed it. Thoughtful, forward-thinking, and already understands the importance of where our food comes from — exactly the kind of perspective we need more of.

I can’t say enough good things about the Vo-Ag program at Middletown High. The work being done there matters, and the students coming out of it are impressive across the board.

We’re lucky to have it.

And honestly… in another life, I think I’d be a Vo-Ag teacher. 🐓
