We feel that it takes a special craftsman to make a wine from fruits grown with the utmost care. Our orchard wines, or country wines, are made with care from fruit that grows in our own orchards. Just as with any vines, we've cared for these trees for years and know their likes and dislikes. The resulting wine is a superior product that has just as much character as traditional grape wines, but ha

s around 12% alcohol by volume. Because of the sugar content of the fruit, our wines are also distilled in a much shorter period than grape wines; around ten weeks. Our tasting room is located within our farm market on Town Street (Route 82) and is only a short ride from Goodspeed Opera House and Gillette Castle State Park.

Connecticut's Farmers' Markets are starting up! Find us later today at Ledyard Farmers' Market, tomorrow at Wethersfield Farmers' Market, and on Sunday in the upper field of Coventry Farmers' Market for "BBQ and Libations". Bozrah Farmer's Market and Old Saybrook start in July!

We bring a different hard cider and Staehly Farm Winery fruit wine for sampling each week, with many of your favorites available for purchase by the bottle!
