From garden to cookie in less than 24 hours.

Yesterday these blackberries were picked fresh from the Matthew Lester Memorial Garden at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum. Today they became homemade blackberry jam tucked inside buttery linzer cookies.

There’s something special about this time of year. American flags waving, time with family and friends, backyard BBQs, fireworks, and celebrating the country we call home.

This Fourth of July is even more meaningful as we celebrate 250 years of America 🇺🇸
