We got the best news to end CT Grown for CT Kids week!! After selling more corn and tomatoes for the lunch line at the East Hartford high school and helping at Silver Lane Elementary for the CTG4CTK taste test, we found out we got the CTG4CTK grant we applied for! We are going to upgrade the stakes that help hold up our tomato plants next year. This is why we love Farm to School so much!!

It’s the last day of corn sale!! Every year we like to thank our wonderful customers for a great season by all, but giving our corn away. So come grab some corn for 25c and ear or $3/dozen (3 dozen limit). We also have the last of tomatoes available, plenty of winter squash, pumpkins, and another delivery of mums.

This fall weather has us getting ready for the season to come to an end! 🍂

Happy fall y’all!!! 🍁🎃 We have officially put out our fall decor and veggies. We have pumpkins and gourds grown right here on our farm, various winter squashes, and corn stalks! We will continue to have mums delivered as needed, so come grab those as well. We love this time of year 🍂

Mums are still $7 for 1 or 3 for $20. Gourds are $1 each, no matter what size.

Delicata squash $1 each

Honeynut squash $1 each

Acorn squash $1 each

Butternut squash $1.50/lb

Corn stalks $7 per bunch

We harvested some milkweed pods, if anyone would like to try and grow some, take a pod for free!!! Let’s keep the monarch population thriving and it also is poisonous for spotted red lantern flies.

Fall is in the air and we have mums!! We have multiple colors and most are just starting to open so they will last through the season. $7 each or 3 for $20. This is just our first delivery, we will get more throughout the season. We get our mums from Syme Family Farm in Broad Brook.

Today is watermelon day! The watermelons have been delivered from our friends down in Maryland and they look great. We have large seeded melons for $10, medium seedless for $7, and $5 for small seedless. All prices are marked. Come grab a watermelon for your Labor Day weekend activities!
