I’ve repotted my arabica coffee trees 🌳 and Look at them grow!

The growth was almost instant, incredible! I feel bad it took me so long lol, but at least they are loving life now!

I don’t know how long it will take before I actually get coffee beans, but I’m happy to see the growth!

I have zero problems with spiders. I have owned tarantulas in the past and will probably again one day in the future.

I, however, do NOT like spiders inside my home and I do have a golden rule to address them in my house. If I can put you outside I will, if I can’t so sorry.

I will never kill a spider outside, that is it home, that is where they belong. But inside my home, I’ll try my best, but I make no guarentees 😅

That being said this spider was not in my home at all whatsoever, so I took a picture and I left it be.

BUT!!! it was fairly unnerving to have it a few inches from my face 😂. I was cleaning out the rabbit Hutch and had half of my body inside of it reaching the back and as I was pulling my body out, I looked to the right and low and behold there she was this big, beautiful wolf spider.

Yep, she scared me! But she is a beauty!!

Riya, our female guardian dog, has come into heat. I am in no way ready for puppies, so it is imperative that I keep Riggs, our 10 month old male away.

I decided to put him on R***rs tie out, and I’d be lying if I didn’t say he sure does remind me of my Rugie there. That’s a 🥺 and a 🥹 all at once.

I miss my big guy ❤️

The pond fish tank water update!

9 days, two algae treatments and the submersible pond filter later and WOW look at the water now!!

We can see fish again!

09/07/2026

This was taken on August 29th!

The tank that is holding my pond fish had an algae bloom. Forgive my slightly off words (‘algae stone’ is supposed to be ‘air stone’ etc). I had only just started my medication and my brain fog was really pretty bad. I’m better now! And so is the water in the tank!!

Check out the next post for the update!

Well friends, I spent the last couple week in and out of dr appointments and hospitals to have two separate diagnosis, and more to be figured. I will need a surgery or two to fix me up.

This is hard because without me nothing here functions, but I’ll say it again,, without me nothing functions so I HAVE to take care of myself first.

That said, I need to find temporary or permanent homes for my animals. I would STRONGLY prefer temporary foster homes, from October to April. I don’t want to sell them, but if that is the only arrangement I can make then I will 😞

I’m so grateful that the ponies will be going to Northwestern in Mass for the kids there to enjoy. A huge thanks to Kim for helping me with these guys!

My sweet goatie girls Caramel and Alice are going to a friend’s house for a few months (a big thank you Jaime!), but will need more time. If you can please consider fostering these girls for 3 months for me/ us! February-April.

My beautiful sheep, Rose and BB still need a place to stay. I do have one beautiful soul who just offered to foster, and I will get back to her just after this but yes I still need a definitive foster or permanent home for my sheep 😞. I hate it 😞 😞 😞

My emu, my sweet big birds. I have been trying to find the right place for my big birds to no avail, but they too need a foster or permanent home.

This is not an easy decision for me. I’m hurt, heartbroken and upset about everything happening, but this is my reality and I’m trying my best to get through it with as much grace as I can find.

Please message the Farm if you can help.

Tuesday evening was a real tough one here.

Tuesday evening we said goodbye to the farm’s cornerstone. To the reason I slept well for so long knowing the animals were safe and protected. Tuesday evening we said goodbye to the best friend, companion and guardian that we could have ever asked for.

Tuesday evening we said goodbye to R***r.

He had a ribeye, he had pets, hugs, love and support and passed surrounded by the people who loved him the most in this world- right at home where he belongs.

Letting him go wasn’t just letting him go for me. So much of life and the chapter that is closing for me, is symbolized by letting him go. And for all of that I have no words.

I take peace in knowing R***rs spirit is still very present, running freely on the wind, expressed in every rain drop, and is no longer bound by the ailments of a physical mind.

But oh how I and the kids miss that huge furry physical body.

I love you Boog, WE love you.

The torch has been passed, and you’re officially off duty.

The best boy ❤️

This project started May 21, 2026.

I took the closet in my reptile room from a storage/ junk collection space, to a neat tidy place to house 4 tanks and my sulcatta Taco Beau accross the bottom.

It started May 21st, and it is still not done! But I decided it was done enough to put four tanks up and clear up some room space! Check it out!!!

Taco, my Sulcatta tortoise will go at the very bottom eventually across the entire closet, I will build him a custom enclosure 😁. The shelves above belonged to my two bearded dragons Mimi SpikeArena, and Chonk,, and my two snakes, a ball python named Silas and Pueblan Milk snake named Bartholomew!

My last snake, Bonita Mia, is a Red Tail Boa. She will get very big (8+ ft!) and she will also be getting a much bigger custom home in the room.

I still have to paint the shelves. I still have to get all the lighting wired and fixed and on timers, but considering this project started May 21, I’m pretty happy to finally have the tanks up on the shelves on August 18 😅❤️
