Right now we are offering half bushel baskets full for $20. They are in the sugarhouse where it is cooler and they will keep fresher, just picked today. (Put your purchase in a bag and leave the baskets please so we can reuse them.) NOW is the time for cucumber salad and all sorts of yummy recipes. Pumpkins are now out on the pumpkin tier near the little farmstand by the road. Each individually priced. Both sides are loaded.

As some of the farmer's markets we are involved with are ending, we will be setting up a bigger and better display here at the farm in hopes that you will venture out. Today is pumpkin picking day! We also just hauled a nice picking of peaches, apples and nectarines. We have loads of cucumbers, tomatoes, and ground cherries, and flowers. We also have string beans, peppers, onions, kale, swiss chard, bok choi, and lots of culinary herbs. And of course our maple products. Come check it out after today! The West End Farmer's Market and Bloomfield Market will still be happening so you can visit us there until October. The Cromwell and Barkhamsted Farmer's Market's last day is this week. Thank you to all of our customers who came out to the farmer's markets this season. "Support local farms today so we exist tomorrow!"

Out of blueberries for today (Sunday) as soon as it dries out we’ll be picking more! We still have late season berries coming in. Right now at the stand we have peaches, nectarines, ground cherries, and flowers. PYO Sunflowers this week. Cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers are still coming in. 😊
