If you guys have not been to Lolita's in Poughkeepsie yet you should give it a whirl. Most AMAZING crew + food.

This was a dessert calzone stuffed with berries and we had another one stuffed with chocolate brownies and bananas. SO GOOD! Thank you Lolita's + for making our night awesome!

Coming in hot! Too early for a Chai Old Fashioned? This one calls for some fresh nutmeg. Anyone else using nutmeg in their cocktails? This stuff adds drama to your drinks. I use fresh nutmeg in a variety of cocktails with ingredients like rum, whiskey, citrus or bitters. Did you know back in the day this stuff was more expensive than gold + was used as a mild narcotic?! Here’s a quick recipe to get you through this evening. 😂🗽

Chai Old Fashioned
2 oz. Irish Whiskey
½ oz. brown sugar-chai syrup
3 dashes Fee Brothers Walnut Bitters
Tools: barspoon, strainer
Glass: rocks
Garnish: orange twist, grated nutmeg

Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and stir!
Serve over one large rock! If you don’t have the ice you can sip on this without it. Don’t stress. There is enough of that in this world already.
