We’ve just opened up a few limited spots in our Raw A2A2 Guernsey Milk Herdshare program!
Enjoy fresh, raw A2A2 milk from our Guernsey cows—perfect for those looking for nutrient-rich, more easily digestible milk. Unlike seasonal programs, we offer convenient year-round pickups, along with access to other farm-fresh goods available at pickup through our farm stand.
Here are answers to some commonly asked questions:
What is a Herdshare?
Due to Michigan regulations, raw milk cannot be sold directly. A herdshare allows you to legally obtain raw milk by purchasing a share in our herd. There is a one-time buy-in fee, along with a monthly boarding fee that covers the care and milking of the cows.
Our Herd:
We raise Guernsey cows, known for producing rich, creamy A2A2 milk that is nutrient-dense and naturally has a beautiful golden color.
Feeding Practices:
Our cows are pasture-raised as much as possible, supplemented with high-quality hay, forage, and a small amount of grain during milking to ensure they receive the vitamins and minerals they need.
Pickup:
Milk pickup is available weekly at our farm, year-round.
The Storehouse General Store:
When you come for pickup, you can also shop our farm stand, which offers eggs, pork, beef, homemade soaps, honey, maple syrup, holistic products, and more.
