The Barley light up statue was gifted to us by Uncle John. Instead of putting him roadside with a free sign, we decided to do a “Where’s Barley?” Series. Barley popped up in the hen house this afternoon. Where will we find Barley next?

Airbnb raised host service fees to 15.5 percent from 3 percent. We had to raise our farm stay rates on airbnb to absorb the increase. Book direct with us and save $.

Does sourdough bread get any better than this? Honey Walnut Cinnamon Sour Dough. Tweaking the recipe next week and adding sultanas and cardamom. So good in the morning with breakfast or the afternoon with Earl Grey tea.

The first sign of spring on the farm is not a robin or a daffodil but horse blankets off and hanging on the fence to get rain washed before they are washed, patched and stored until winter.
