Does sourdough bread get any better than this? Honey Walnut Cinnamon Sour Dough. Tweaking the recipe next week and adding sultanas and cardamom. So good in the morning with breakfast or the afternoon with Earl Grey tea.

The first sign of spring on the farm is not a robin or a daffodil but horse blankets off and hanging on the fence to get rain washed before they are washed, patched and stored until winter.

We've had snow cover since November. And it's snowing again! Our city farmers markets were cancelled again this weekend because of dangerous weather (lots of snow). This is the fifth weekend without farmers markets and thus without income. It's been a tough winter so we deserve an early spring. We host the New York Sheep Shearing School March 20-21. We would prefer slogging around in mud rather than snow! Ewes have started lambing. So far four bummer (bottle lambs) and 2 DOA. Let's hope that's it for the season.

Sourdough loaves just out of the oven. Experimenting with flax seed, spelt and oats to see if I can get the same lift. Beet and oranges next. Can’t sit still over the holidays
