It feels SO weird to say this, but Thanksgiving is coming up in just 6 weeks.
Ducks are back! Everything on the menu here is pre-order (pay on the day of pick up). Pick up this year is Wednesday, November 26th anytime between 7:30am-4pm. Call or email or chat in person to order anything (social media messages aren't a good idea- we don't check it every day and some stuff ends up in weird messaging folders we never even see).

The ducks sell out fast, so make sure to reserve yours soon!

October W**e Club

We’re slipping into our autumnal shroud here at Fox, enjoying the last of the sunny days as the light plays on the golden rods and the magenta radiance of maples. These colors signal the end of something, but they give us a chance to slip out gently- to embrace the coming winter with a last display of vibrancy and warmth. Our two red w**es this month are a sign of the changing seasons. They are both examples of unoaked, semi-carbonic maceration leading to fresh, juicy red w**es, but with completely different grapes from different regions- and totally different results.

Book Swap at Fox Market! Saturday, October 3rd, all day long!

It’s a new concept for us, but one I’ve had ruminating in my head all summer. I consume books as much as I can, but my free time is limited, and I’m always disappointed to start a book that is that I don’t enjoy or can't find something to learn from. Luckily, my life is full of folks who give me the best recommendations! And reading what someone else loves about a book, or talking about what I enjoy so much about a book, is such a pleasure.

So for this book swap, the idea is to include a note- either in the book or wrapped around the book or somehow included with the book- with some sort of recommendations. Either why you loved it or what its about or why it sparked your curiosity or brought you joy or made you cry or turned you on or anything!

Drop off books anytime throughout the week, and we will lay them all out on Saturday morning. Then come by on Saturday all day to pick up a new book (or two or three!)

September W**e Club

As the season shifts, we move forward and cling to the past all at once. Early mornings and the moments after sunset require sweaters and layers, while the midday sun beats down and keeps us reminiscing about our summertime memories. We are pulled in two directions, harvesting abundance from our gardens and planning for its closing moments. Our w**e picks for this month reflect the duality- moving towards reds for the cooler nights, and still clinging to the whites we’ve enjoyed all summer long.

Cuties, we're taking a break! We're gonna close the shop from 9/1-9/5 to do some end of summer renovations (and a brief trip to Montreal). Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for giving us the break. We'll have this place roofed and painted and maybe tidied a bit when you come back.
