Nordic Cottage is ready for your Sunday breakfast and Heather is all set to serve up some tasty comfort food all morning, as always! Besides our regular menu—sammies and pastries—make sure to check out our Sunday breakfast specials!

🫓 First up, our classic, delicious biscuits and gravy! Inspired by Southern Appalachian comfort food, this creamy, peppery dish pairs buttery biscuits with savory sausage for a perfect meal. Best of all, it's only $8!

🫔 We've also got a Lefse Breakfast Casserole Wrap on special! For $11, this breakfast is amazing: it's lefse, a traditional Norwegian potato flatbread, wrapped around Swedish sausage, bacon, diced potatoes, eggs, and your choice of cheese.

🫔 Saturday at Nordic Cottage means an awesome breakfast special is waiting for you! This Saturday is Lefse Breakfast Casserole Wrap day! For $11, this breakfast is incredible: Lefse, a traditional Norwegian potato flatbread, wrapped around Swedish sausage, bacon, diced potatoes, eggs, and your choice of cheese. There might be a better way to start your weekend, but I doubt it!

These traditional Norwegian cookies are thin, buttery, and delicately crisp waffle cookies made in a special krumkake iron, which imprints them with intricate patterns. While still warm, each cookie is carefully rolled around a cone-shaped form, creating its signature shape. The result? Friends and Neighbors, you're probably starting to think about your Thanksgiving... who's hosting, who's bringing which dish, what the oven schedule is, and how many dishes you'll have piled in the sink afterward. It's a lot. It's wonderful, but really, it's a lot. Why don't you let us help this year? We're happy to bake your pumpkin or apple pie! 🍎 Alyssa made a delicious Viking inspired Apple Cake, just for you. This Viking-inspired Norwegian apple cake celebrates the arrival of Autumn and draws inspiration from ingredients available to the Norse people of centuries past -- rye flour provides a rustic, earthy flavor, and the spices of cinnamon and cardamom bring warmth. There are only eight slices and they'll be available from 6:30am until... well, for as long as they last! $4 per slice, just for you!

🥞 Saturday morning breakfasts are a celebration at Nordic Cottage! Try our thin, tender Swedish pancakes with great toppings like lingonberry jam or whipped cream. You can get four pancakes with lingonberries and whipped cream for just $8; you definitely don't want to miss this special!

🥘 With two soups on the menu, lunch this Saturday is all about staying warm and cozy. Alongside the much-loved French Onion Soup, today's special is Viking Stew, made with hearty chicken and the root vegetables traditionally enjoyed by Vikings. Though a Viking-inspired stew might sound simple, this recipe offers a wonderfully refined, sophisticated flavor. We serve it with a slice of Icelandic Rye Bread.
