This handsome boy, we called Hoss Jr., went to a new home today. 🤠 he looks very much like his daddy. He's going to be an excellent sire for his new flock.
It was so wonderful to meet his new people, we just know he'll have a happy home and be well cared for. It's great to make new connections, too. We hope his new family will keep in touch with pictures and updates!

Good Earth Farm just got a notification about new grandlambs.
4 of our ewe lambs went to live with Jeff Withers and family Rise Farm in April 2025. They've just had their first lamb this year❣️
One beautiful girl from "Eyebrow", a definitive dark streak above the brow🤠, will be the first of 4 to deliver.
We can't express how much it means to us that our farm families keep in touch. We look forward to our updates, photos and videos. These lambs will be registered or registerable katahdin and we can help you find them in a few months, after weening. When they post we will be happy to share.

We had a fun day today! We started out by taking "Smudge" our ram lamb, to the University of Florida for their yearly Ram Test program. He checked all the boxes and passed the inspection, was off loaded with an excited little hop, eager to make new friends. Off to college he goes!🤠
We headed back to the farm and met with our local UF/IFAS agents, Wendy from Putnam County and Jeet from St. Johns County, after their 4H field day-- a bonus round for those that wanted to stick it out a little longer and have one more farm visit. They picked brussel sprouts and tops/greens, learned a few new ways to cook them and then headed over to the sheep barn and pasture. The sheep were very, very happy to have new friends bring them treats! Brussel sprout leaves and some nibbles of sweet corn hit the spot❣️

6ft post and a 2yr old vs a 5yr old. Manfred the Mighty Wonder Dog and Calamity Jane. The lizard on the top was not harmed, it made a great escape. 🤠

Big weekend and it's only Saturday night, the Blueberry Festival, the Potato Cabbage and Bacon Fest, the Bartram Frolic.

5 ram lambs will be ready to go in the next few weeks! We've been pretty proud of our flock, our breeding program and genetics. They've produced winners and good sires, with a few freezer campers, of course.
All are registered or registerable Katadin.
