As always we had a blast participating at the Iowa State Fair Limousin Open Show. It was awesome to see Clanton Creek Cattle genetics represented in the final drive for the Limousin Female show.

Paul has been involved in agriculture his entire life. He began using Limousin genetics in a crossbreeding program in 1992. He liked the muscling, efficiency and growth the Limousin influence added to the calves. Over the years the crossbred cows were sold and replaced with registered Limousin females which he found were easy to handle, had very few calving problems and made great mama cows with longevity. Happy Day 3 of Beef Month!

Sarah Smith is the daughter of Paul and Darla Millhollin. Alongside her husband Ben, they continue the tradition of raising Limousin cattle. In addition to raising breeding stock, they have also expanded the direct to consumer marketing side of the business providing Limousin beef to Iowa families. They are also owners of Phenotypic Acres a purebred Berkshire operation selling seedstock and Berkshire pork across the country.
