EGGstra DIRTY day at the egg stand!
Thanks to all the flooding and nonstop rain, our ladies have been tracking extra mud and water into their nesting boxes. The result? Some seriously dirty eggs.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: These are NOT eggs for sale.
We’re offering them FREE in 18 count cartons clearly labeled “FREE.”
They will NOT be in the cooler, they’ll be on top of the cart table behind the cooler.
➡️ First come, first serve.
Because these eggs are dirty, it’s critical that you float test them BEFORE washing and storing.
We would normally do this ourselves, but once float tested they must be refrigerated, and we simply have way too many to eat on our own.
Full transparency: if you have chickens, you know this happens sometimes. These are the eggs we usually keep for ourselves, float test, wash, and refrigerate properly.
🚨 We cannot guarantee quality with these eggs. Once the bloom is disturbed, spoilage can happen, so please please please 🙏🏼 float test them before use. Also, feel free to message us with any questions.
