I had to wait to post until I could give Zoey her chair and ribbon today, since she had to miss the banquet… But may I present this year’s GRAND CHAMPIONS in Walk/Trot English Pleasure and Gymkhana, Madalyn and Denver 💙🏆 And this year’s GRAND CHAMPIONS in P*e Wee Gymkhana, Zoey and Denver 💙🏆 I could not be more proud of these two young ladies and all the hard work and dedication they have put into their season this year! I am so thankful for the opportunity to coach them and be a part of their lives 🥰 Denver has been a shining star this summer and has proven she’s worth her weight in gold 🌟 I am so blessed by the amazing horses that God has allowed to be a part of my life. Thank you to everyone who supported us along the way and helped these young ladies achieve a dream! 🤩🥳 We’ll see you next year, Harmony!

We had an amazing weekend at the Harmony Trail Ride! Sarah hauled the four horse rig all by herself and did great!! 😎 Stephanie and Caprice, Michelle and Sonny, Sarah and Nighthawk, and Denny and myself hit the trails for a gorgeous day on Saturday, despite having to work out some cold weather sillies in the morning! Sunday was a drizzly day, but still dry enough for us to hit the trails for a fun scavenger hunt! Thank you so much, Chris, for creating and organizing that! I definitely vote for a repeat next year! It was a blessed weekend spent camping with my sister and our horses ❤️ I’m thankful for the time spent, the hours riding, and the fun we had! Looking forward to spring! 🤩

Well, that’s a wrap for the show season at Harmony! We had a phenomenal weekend at our September all-games show. Thank you to my amazing students, their parents, my sister, my brother in law, and my mom for all of your support and faith in me! It’s been a blessing to grow with y’all this summer.

Zoey and Denver rode beautiful pee-wee patterns and Zoey bravely rode the quickest trot and made great turns! I’m excited to see them independent in the arena next summer 🤩

Madalyn and Denver rode beautiful, fast patterns and wrapped up their last show in style! Helping this pair grow has been such a joy for the past several years and I couldn’t be more proud of the character, horsemanship, humility, and stellar sportsmanship I have had the pleasure of watching Madalyn develop through her time with Denver. They wrapped up the weekend with another Grand Champion! 🏆

Sarah and Nighthawk rode great patterns and put in fast times, despite the mud we had to deal with on Sunday! I love watching their bond and how they’ve grown over the years. Keep chasing your dreams, sissy! 🩵

Denny and I also had a great weekend riding walk/trot. Saturday was a little tense with the crisp weather and excitement of the show. But he tried his best and trusted me to get us through our patterns. We danced through most of our patterns and worked on some lateral movement to loosen up and wrapped the day with a little more relaxation. Sunday he was so much more relaxed and was able to calmly walk and jog all of our patterns! I’m so blessed to be able to help him grow and it’s exciting to see him start to relax and enjoy his work. We’ve always known he’s an amazing horse that just needs a little patience and wisdom in his guidance. The sky’s the limit with this talented young man and I can’t wait to see where he goes! Thank you for trusting me with your boy, Danny! 💙

We’re all looking forward to next weekend’s trail ride and fun show to end the season with some relaxed fun and enjoy the splendor of God’s creation in the woods.

What a great way to spend a weekend! I’m thankful for Harmony Riders and all the experiences I get to share with my students and my family!
Denver and Madalyn rode beautifully this weekend in walk/trot English pleasure, bringing home Reserve ❤️ Champion for the weekend 🥳 and walk/trot Gymkhana, bringing home Grand 💙 Champion for the weekend! 🥳 This pair has really hit their stride this year! I could not be more proud of the dedication, consistency, patience, high character, and quality horsemanship Madalyn has grown in and displayed this year. Keep up the hard work, girly!
Zoey and Denver ran solid peewee rides all weekend and came home with some awesome, high placings. I’m so proud of the progress this kiddo has made this summer! Her seat has been improving and she was BRAVE this weekend! I thought they were gonna run away with me in our last class! 🤩 Great things are on her horizon.
Sarah and Nighthawk showed Senior in the Calcutta Saturday night and put down solid runs with some great placings. There partnership is so fun to watch! Their turns have been getting cleaner and stronger this summer. Sunday afternoon came with some fast times and high placings earning her and Nighthawk Senior Reserve Champion for the show! 🥳 I am so happy to celebrate her accomplishment with her! 🩵
Denny and I rode walk/trot gymkhana and I could not be happier with how he did. This was our first show together and while he had some wobbles on Saturday, he came in the pen like a seasoned show horse on Sunday. Low and slow is our motto for this summer to build his foundation strong! He’s a sensitive boy, so adding speed will be a careful process when he lets me know he’s ready. It’s so fun to be a part of his journey and help him develop to be the amazing horse I know he can be, and already is! The relaxation and genuine fun he ended up having in the ring was a huge accomplishment! I’m excited to see where we go! 💙

We had an amazing weekend at the July Harmony show! Madalyn and Denver are really hitting their stride this year! They’re kicking butt and taking names, coming home with another Grand Champion in English AND Gymkhana. I couldn’t be more proud of their teamwork! Zoey rode Denver for P*ewee Gymkhana on Saturday and they had great rides! It’s fun to see Zoey’s knowledge and skill grow with her excitement for this sport! Izzy and Denny had their first fully successful show, with only a couple wobbles and awesome classes. They won their very first riding class of the weekend, English equitation and came home with Reserve Champion is Gymkhana. The progress that these two have made since our first show with Denny in April is such a blessing to see! Shelby had a great day with Legend on Saturday! A change of plans from her usual show buddy, but she took the adjustment in stride and rode beautifully! Legend ran great on Saturday night for me. I’m so blessed to call this little mare mine! Sarah and Nighthawk ran awesome this weekend and took home several ribbons and placed in the money in several of their classes! We celebrated America’s 250th birthday with a bang this month! 🇺🇸 Looking forward to our August show and the fun and learning opportunities it will bring us all! Thank you to all my students and their families who support us! And thank you to my mom, who had a huge role in preparing me for this adventure! Love the horse first and the sport second ❤️🤍💙

Sarah and Nighthawk and Legend and I got back in the arena for the first time this year to barrel race on Saturday night. Legend and I placed in the money in all of our classes, which was a first, and got our personal best in poles and cloverleaf! Lots to look forward to as the summer goes on ☀️ Sarah and Nighthawk placed in three of their classes and got second in straight barrels 😎 I’m so blessed to be able to chase this dream with my best friend and sister 🩵

I missed posting about our excellent May show at Harmony, but we just wrapped up our June show and it was equally successful! I am so proud of Izzy and Denny, Madalyn and Denver, and Zoey and Denver for all of their hard work and good sportsmanship and horsemanship this weekend. Madalyn took home grand champion in english pleasure and gymkhana for the weekend and Izzy took home reserve champion in english pleasure and gymkhana. Too bad they don’t have a weekend grand champion for pee-wee, but if they did, Zoey would’ve brought that home for pee-wee gymkhana! 🏅 I am blessed to have the opportunity to invest in the next generation of horsemen and women 🩵
