🐓Well, I had some people asking. Am I going to keep the chickens? What am I doing? Basically I have to leave the land. I’ve been on for 10 years. Things just aren’t working out there unfortunately and I have tried everything. It was originally supposed to be a Hopsfield and me and my partner were gonna open our own brewery , so after spending four years building the hop yards we had a spring come in in May about five years ago or so and it was 90° for around 2 to 3 weeks straight and it burnt every plant I had, but that doesn’t even matter because even if all the plants were doing well, the entire b**r industry has crashed due to the legalization of ma*****na, so I started working on some other things, mushrooms, black, raspberries, elderberries, peach trees, chickens, etc. but unfortunately, the beginning plan of having a hopsyard and enough money for me and my partner is just gone so I asked her if I could purchase the property through her financing the land but she said no, and she might have to sell the land anyways due to the world becoming so expensive and ridiculous, so I spent two weeks trying to find land. I had someone that was going to finance it for me and I found a gorgeous 26 acre lot for $45,000 and everything looked really good until it didn’t. It needs to be a cash deal because it belongs to a corporation and I don’t have $45,000 in cash after Covid drove my business into the ground and sent me into a bankruptcy. I’m nowhere even near being able to pull that off and my investor stepped out and of said i can’t put up that much cash right now and that’s OK I understand I even offered the deal out to a bunch of people. I know that if they got the land for 45,000 I would pay them 60,000 if they financed it for Me which would be like getting a loan with around 18% APR on it which is almost like loansharkIng , but I don’t even care it would be my only opportunity to get that land. Unfortunately, everyone else seems to be in the same boat with money with our country going down the toilet financially it just looks like I’ll eventually have to close down and get rid of the chickens come next spring, unless I can figure out something between now and then and I will keep trying, but it doesn’t look good, but I’ll keep trying.  I am reminded of my 11th grade social studies teacher when we were studying the fall of the ruble in Russia and I had said well that’s not fair. All those people’s money became worthless and he said kevin don’t ever assume that life will be good ,because not everybody gets to live in good times and most will never see good times I was like damn dude you’re a buzz kill unfortunately he was 100% correct. ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da life goes on!!!!
