This week, the remaining flowers in our organic cut-flower garden will be pulled out. But fear not! Throughout the season our Annuals & Perennials team carefully ties many of the harvested blooms into bunches and hangs them to dry. A few weeks later, they’re transformed into stunning wreaths and swags for sale at the farmstand.

Even the wreath bases have a story: they’re made from bittersweet, an invasive vine. So the team isn’t just removing it from trees, they’re turning it into something beautiful!

We expanded our seed increase project last week!

The new plots are now home to six more species, including Joe Pye, Yellow Loosestrife, and Boneset. These species are both beautiful and beneficial, and are a key part of creating resilient landscapes in the Upper Valley and beyond.

Starting tomorrow, we're Sharing the Harvest!

When you shop at Cedar Circle on Thursdays in October, we'll donate 5% of that sale to NOFA-VT's Farm Share Program and allocate another 5% to our own fund for that same program, both of which subsidize CSA shares for low-income Vermonters.

For every donation of $175, NOFA-VT is able to offer a season’s worth of local food to a low-income Vermont household. Join us and 50+ other participating businesses for this community fundraiser 👩‍🌾
