Crooked Creek Tree Farm, LLC We give cut and choose christmas trees very occasionally to friends and causes. South side of road.

We are a Conservation Easement in the Mukwonago River watershed, restoring our property. Located 1/4 mile east of Waukesha County Highway E on Waukesha County Highway LO. We started planting 35,000 trees in 1989, opened in November 1997, and built up a wonderful clientele. We sold a conservation easement on the property in 2003 to protect the Mukwonago River, and chose to not continue planting trees. The Nature Conservancy holds the easement, but I still own the property.

We do not sell trees as they got too large after 25 plus years. Happy Thanksgiving and holidays filled with abundance, joy and kindness.

We are holding this property as habitat corridor in the Mukwonago River watershed for critters who suffer loss of necessary habitat and movement corridors. We try to enhance and restore native habitat and retain the glorious plants that have become threatened and endangered, as well as those out competed by invasives. We feel this is important work for the watershed and its animal and human inhabitants. You too can remove invasive plants on your properties.

We are no longer selling trees, but remain accessible to our long term friends on a case by case basis. Please contact us as you have in the past and we will try to accommodate as possible.

Evergreens remain non-indigenous, and therefore, undesirable as we restore the property.

Recently members of the Door County Land Trust and volunteer workers were at the Three Springs Nature Preserve in Sister Bay to remove Scotch pine.

Our trees have dwindled, and are tall and unsheared, but there are still some you may want. Check us out by appointment only. We sold a conservation easement on the property in 2003 to protect the Mukwonago River, and chose to not continue planting trees in 1997. The Nature Conservancy holds the conservation easement, but I still own the property. Our commercial activity ended in 2013. Christmas trees are available by appointment after Thanksgiving.
