DAY 8 — THE CLAW GAVE US AN EXTRA PACK.

We’re back for another day of 30 Packs for 30 Years of Pokémon!

At this point, we’ve learned two things:

1️⃣ Never trust a claw machine.
2️⃣ I’m going to open whatever pack it tells me to.

The ball is picked.
The pack is revealed.
Now we find out what’s inside!

We’re getting closer and closer to the big 30th anniversary celebration on the 16th, when we’ll be opening a TON of packs! 🔥

DAY 7 — ONE WEEK OF POKÉMON!

We’ve made it a whole 7 days without the claw machine completely betraying us.

Another Poké Ball.
Another number.
Another pack.
Another chance at that BIG pull.

We’re officially one week into 30 Packs for 30 Years of Pokémon!

And the countdown continues…

September 16th = the big celebration!
We’ll be opening A LOT of packs to celebrate the 30th anniversary release!

Until then… let’s see what the claw gives us today.

DAY 6 — SIX DAYS IN, STILL NO SELF-CONTROL

The Pokémon pack-opening adventure continues!

The claw machine picked the number…
We opened the pack…
And now we wait to see if today is the day we pull something AMAZING.

30 packs. 30 years.

And remember — we’re saving the BIG celebration for the 16th, when we’ll be opening a whole bunch of packs for the 30th anniversary release!

2026 has been hard with so many celebrity deaths. It is with a heavy heart that we at The Battle Standard acknowledge the passing of the legendary Peter Cullen.

The word ICON is thrown around often, but few actors warrant the title more than Cullen, as the voice of the Predator, Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, and of course the legendary Optimus Prime among so many other great roles.

We can think of no better way to channel that grief into joy and warmth than to enjoy our MECHA Model and hobby night tonight. Every Thursday we welcome any/all to come and celebrate the joy of model building.

So you can grab your favorite game, open some packs, play a board game, build some LEGOs, play DND, Warhammer, and grab a bite or a drink while you’re here.

Because sometimes you need a little magic to go with your Pokémon pulls.

Whatever number is hiding in today’s Poké Ball is deciding which pack we’ll open!

Yesterday we got a bonus Destined Rivals pack… but today, we’re back to letting fate do its thing.

30 packs. 30 years.
And we’re counting down to the big 30th anniversary release on the 16th, when we’ll be opening A LOT more packs!

DAY 2 — WE’RE ALREADY BREAKING THE RULES

The claw machine gave us our pack for Day 2… but then we got Destined Rivals in stock 👀

So obviously… we had to open one.

That means TWO PACKS for Day 2!

Pack #1: Whatever the claw decided
Pack #2: Destined Rivals

And honestly, we’re not mad about having an excuse to open more Pokémon.

What will we pull tomorrow?!

30 YEARS OF POKÉMON = 30 PACKS!

We’re celebrating Pokémon’s 30th anniversary with a little advent-style pack-opening challenge!

We’ve got 24 numbered Poké Balls, and every day we’re letting the claw machine decide which pack we open. Some balls even have TWO numbers… so there’s no telling what we’ll be ripping into! 👀

And on January 16th — the 30th anniversary release — we’re going BIG.

That day, we’ll be opening a whole bunch of packs to celebrate!
