Newfie Knoll Farm

Newfie Knoll Farm Julie and Pete Davis tend to Newfie Knoll Farm, where they grow apples, Blueberries, and much more. Their farm is a haven of sweetness and natural beauty.

They also harvest honey from their bees and craft Christmas wreaths and decorations in the winter. Nestled in the heart of Maine, Julie and Peter Davis's Newfie Knoll Farm is a haven of natural beauty and bounty. This husband-and-wife team tends to their orchards, harvesting seven varieties of apples, three types of cherries, peaches, plums, grapes, strawberries, rhubarb, blueberries, and seven ty

pes of high-bush berries. They're also beekeepers, extracting sweet honey from their busy bees. As winter's chill sets in, they trade their harvesting baskets for festive creations, crafting Christmas wreaths, garlands, and centerpieces that bring warmth and joy to their community. With a deep love for the land and their craft, Julie and Pete invite you to experience the sweetness and charm of Maine's countryside.

The blueberries are thriving and absolutely delicious right now ๐Ÿซ Our Pink Lemonade blueberries just need a little more sunshine, but theyโ€™ll be worth the wait. Apples are almost ready too, and weโ€™ve got baking apples coming in that are truly massive. Think watermelon-sized, or so weโ€™ve been told. We canโ€™t wait to see them. The grapes are ripening beautifully as well.

As for the honey: we had an unexpected visit from a bear who helped himself to a snack. Because of that, fall honey is unlikely this year, but weโ€™re doing our best to harvest you some if we can.

Fresh at Newfie Knolls Farm: Our no-spray, handpicked apples, blueberries, and raspberries are ready for picking.

Our highbush blueberries, including the popular Lemonade variety, need a little more time on the bush. We expect them to be ready for U-pick in a few weeks. Weโ€™ll keep you posted!

As we tend to our bees on this lovely day, we inspect the rest of our picturesque property. Blueberries and Rhubarb are thriving exceptionally well, we will have to reassess our strawberry crop, as the turkeys seem to think they are meant for them. We eagerly anticipate the growth of more produce, so we can share these delectable fruits.

๐Ÿ˜” Bittersweet update from Newfie Knoll Farm! Our Apple trees took a hit from our furry friends (you know who you are, Deer family ๐Ÿ˜‰). We're salvaging what we can, but the Peach and Cherry trees will need some TLC. Mother Nature's got her own plans, right? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ So, no Peaches or Cherries this year... but we're focusing on regrowth and can't wait to share our fresh Eastbrook, Maine-grown goodies with you all! ๐ŸŽ "
