Farm update!

As we roll towards summer, our garden is well underway (just a bit delayed due to the cold temps last month).

Unfortunately, all of our bees were wiped out last fall due to mites, so we won’t have honey available this year.

We also lost several of our layer hens to a fox this spring and while we have a batch of new chicks, we likely won’t have extra eggs available for a little bit.

We’re back from vacation and have freshly picked produce out!
We have a few dozen eggs available as well.

New addition: sunflowers! $2/bunch, please leave the jars.

Tomorrow morning these freshly picked veggies will be going out on the stand! We also have a few jars of honey left.

Fresh elderberry syrup made from 6 cups of elderberries on our property and 3 cups of our own honey.

Stand is out! We have acorn squash and eggplant available today, as well as more fresh herbs!

Stand is out! We have more peppers and zucchini. Honey is still available. We also have eggs but we’re keeping them cool in the fridge.

I wish I’d realized how easy it is to grow potatoes much sooner! Digging around in the dirt to find them was actually pretty fun, too.

Fresh potatoes taste so much better than store bought; they’re creamier and have a buttery flavor!

I admittedly just planted organic potatoes I’d gotten from the store - Once they were sprouting I cut them up into small pieces, let them dry for 24 hours, then stuck them in some dirt. Super easy, cheap, and the harvest is already 5x what came in that tiny, expensive bag from the store!

Honey is available! All stores locally were out of regular honey jars so we have 4oz and 8oz jars available for sale.

Raw honey from our bees - the only processing we’ve used is to strain it through a double mesh strainer. Most jars still have some pollen on the top.
Honey is from the past month.

Also - please come take some free squash! I’m about to go harvest more😳
