🚨 Eastland County: Our Neighbors Need Us Now. 🚨
A government shutdown has put essential food assistance at risk, and the worry is real for many families right here in our community. But in Eastland, we don't stand by when our neighbors face hardship.
That’s why we are launching EASTLAND FEEDS EASTLAND – a powerful, county-wide response to ensure no one in our community goes hungry this month.
This is our moment to act. Together, we can fill the gap. Join our food drive initiative from November 10th to December 10th benefiting the Eastland County Food Pantry. During this month, we are also raising awareness for the other food assistance organizations in the county.
Here’s how you can help build a safety net of hope:
🥫 DONATE: Starting November 10 and lasting until December 10, bring hope and nourishment to our neighbors. Drop off non-perishable food items at our first official drop-off locations:
Page Outdoors on Monday-Friday from 9am to 5pm.
Eastland County Crisis Center, Inc. Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. (Drops can be made by their mail box or press the intercom button on the yellow pole for staff to assist)
🏢HOST: Can your business or organization become a hub of generosity? Become a drop-off spot! It's simple, and we'll make sure the community knows you're helping. (Message us!)
📢SHARE: Amplify our call to action! Tell your friends, family, and networks. The more who know, the more families we can help.
This is more than a food drive; it's our community in action. It’s proof that when challenges arise, Eastland rises to meet them—with compassion, resilience, and unwavering support for one another.
We are already seeing our community spirit shine! A huge thank you to our first heroes: Page Outdoors for stepping up as our first drop-off site and Tina's and Urban Bloom Co. for supplying the collection tubs!
Let's come together and show everyone what Eastland County can do.
