One ranger was fly spraying the cows in the back pasture. While Cooper has a new job driving Papa around on the 4-wheeler while he sprays weeds in the front pasture 😂

Another great time in Wisconsin this weekend at Great Northern Longhorn Classic & Cheesehead Futurity! Ashtyn was upset her heifer she’s worked hard on halter breaking got buddy sour when we took her out of the pen for the Little Cheeser’s halter showmanship. She always does great at home, but first time off the farm and without her buddy she was a bit anxious. But we are so thankful there were a couple extra that the kids could borrow. All three have their eyes on a couple heifers for next year to start working with at weaning soon. Lessons were learned and we will be back next year for another great time! And the kids brought home a couple good 1919 root beers before we left!

The prep is real & a challenge but I do think we are ready!!! (If they stay clean over night đŸ€Ș) We are all looking for...

Spent the day working with a couple girls tuning them up for Wisconsin next weekend! Ashtyn’s “Kailee” girl just needed to be reminded of her manners, didn’t take long before Cooper was able to handle her solo. And “Maggie” (the black one) is still slightly stubborn but turning out quite nice! Which is why Jeremy took the lead at first for Brantley.

Why Longhorns? Oh wait it’ll be fun đŸ€Ș. Believe it or not this 80” ttt gal has it figured out!!

Another great rain last night, we got a little over 1-1/2”. Checked cows this morning while it was nice & cool. I think Mr. Love Warrior must have been showing off for the ladies before I got there. I mean who can resist a muddy face đŸ€Ș

Our annual 4th of July party consisted of hay rides back to see the big girls, babies, and big guy!! It’s always a favorite of kids, adults, and animals with the cubes tossed out! ❀
