Well we took a step up yesterday with getting our Joe Chute delivered! Thank you Lazy J Longhorns - Joe for helping us with getting, delivering, AND helping get it set up in the barn. We can’t wait to use it with the herd!

Well a day after selling this girls mama at the B&C Show-Me Longhorn Sale, Sparkle of Fortune (x Love Warrior) had her calf! Lucky us it’s another heifer!!! How two black and whites have a red and white calf is beyond me but we are hoping this little girl will brindle out as she grows! Brantley named her Sunny! We had to step in slightly and help the calf latch on, mama was doing everything right but baby just couldn’t find the milk. A little time in the chute to get her to latch on to mama and now she’s got a belly full and is good to go!

2 calves in one day is a pretty darn good day!! We rolled a bale out, Rose looked ready then but hung with the herd eating so thinking maybe tomorrow, a half hour later she makes this bee line to the lower pasture which is in full view of our patio. Another half hour later this little black HEIFER made her appearance. All accolades go to Love Warrior….. what an amazing bull Donnie Volkart produced!!! RRR MISS TOP GAL 836 X LOVE WARRIOR 👍

Love Warrior strikes again with Ashtyn’s “Lainey” cow RRR Miss Willie 014! We were hoping for another heifer but it’s a bull calf. But gosh dang is he pretty, and out of an 87” mama!! Ashtyn gave him the pasture name of Whiskey!

Our PCC Cactus Jack daughter had her first calf yesterday! GLR Tuff Cactus Gal (aka Dottie) had a beautiful heifer calf from Love Warrior!! He is knocking it out of the park with these calves this year so far!! 5 on the ground so far and we cannot wait for the rest! Everyone meet “Finley”.
