“I’ve got a rumbly in my tumbly!” - Winnie The Pooh

Happy Halloween! 🎃👻 Last weekend I gave my Pooh Bear fantasy at Halloween party and made these Honey Cornbread Muffins with Mashed Potato Frosting 🧁🌽🥔 They were a sweet and savory surprise to all the ghouls and goblins 😋 Definitely would recommend for holiday potlucks or a Friendsgiving! They are quick and easy to make and are an absolute crowd pleaser.

Layers on layers on layers 🤩🤤

This past weekend was Alan’s birthday so it was time to flex my baking chops 😋 After doing some minor sleuthing, I found out his 2nd favorite kind of cake is cheesecake and his 3rd favorite kind of cake is carrot cake. So instead of just giving him one or the other, I decided to give him BOTH in lieu of buying or making his 1st favorite cake, ice cream cake. Maybe next year (if you’re good)! 😏

My family has a great recipe for both cheesecake and carrot cake so out came the cake pans and spring form pan (sorry y’all, the recipes trade secrets!). What you see here are two layers of carrot cake with a layer of cheesecake in between and cemented together with rich cream cheese frosting (you can’t have carrot cake without cream cheese frosting—in my not so humble opinion 😂).

Stay tuned for the fulled decorated and frosted final product!

The Honeybee breakfast sammy at had my taste buds buzzing! 🤤🍯🐝

A trip to Canada with means a stop in Tully, NY for breakfast. It’s our favorite place to grab food on our way up because it has such a great atmosphere and we have enjoyed everything we’ve ordered from there. It’s very LGBTQ-friendly and the staff is always cheery and delightful. Alan had one of our favorite breakfast sandwiches, the Ms. Piggy, and I tried The Honeybee for the first time. So…darn…TASTY! I cannot recommend it more!

This recipe is kind of a PIG deal 🐷😋

As I have been developing recipes for , we have been exploring ways to make pork recipes healthier, particular with pork chops. Although they are versatile cut of meat and (even better) budget-friendly, a big concern is the sodium content in pork meat in general. Pork naturally contains a fair amount of sodium, so trying to make recipes that are heart-healthy and low sodium can be a challenge.

With this pork chop recipe, our Grilled Boneless Pork Loin Chops are infused with BIG flavor by being marinated in a low sodium blend of orange juice, honey, Dijon mustard, reduced sodium soy sauce, and fresh thyme. Simple, fresh ingredients go a long way in this recipe to keep it healthy without sacrificing taste!
