Few pictures from this evening while checking the birds.Waiting on my Impeyan male to color out is like watching paint dry.Definitely takes some patience but I’m starting to see some colors showing up now.And the baby turaco is gaining weight fast,I’m sure because of no competition.

Just took a couple videos of some chicks in the brooders this evening.Some Lady Amherst pheasant and Roul Roul partridge chicks.Have a few smaller ones too and more eggs hatching soon.
Enough to stay busy anyway,
Australian Crested Doves and Bourke parakeets are both on young as well.

Took a few pictures yesterday while feeding the birds,
Busier time of year,I have roul roul partridge and Lady Amherst pheasant chicks in the brooders.
Was excited to see the first few blue feathers starting to come in on my male Impeyan pheasant yesterday.He’ll be beautiful when finally colored out.

Also was happy to see the Australian Crested doves have two babies and the Bourke Parakeets are on eggs again.

Just shipped three young Bourke parakeets off to their new home in KY this morning.

First Roul Roul partridge chicks of the year hatched.More in the hatching tray ready to pipp.
Next week turaco eggs are due to hatch.Will be my first time hand raising them from newly hatched chicks.Picture of two turaco and Roul Roul eggs.
