Good morning!

Our last workshop of the season is coming up quickly- Fire C***r!
Fire C***r is a folk remedy and wellness tonic that has stood the test of time, being made by many different people groups for centuries to help support a healthy immune system and fight infection. It's spicy, sweet, tangy, and packs quite the punch!
Join us as we learn to make our own Fire C***r using many ingredients grown right on the farm. I'll walk you through step by step as we talk about each ingredient, dosing, and more.

We are all stocked up for the weekend! (Although I'll be picking lettuces in the morning- kale included!). Come on in for fresh bread, eggs, fresh produce, honey, maple syrup, and hormone and antibiotic free meat raised right here on the farm. Ok - full confession, I have not done a great job of turning over the farm stand this week. I'm so sorry if you've gone in looking for produce and been disappointed! I will be restocking Friday to prepare for the weekend!
I also wanted to announce that we will be hosting our Fire C***r Class on Saturday, October 24th! If you're interested in learning about the healing power of plants, this is a great "first step" to learning more. The cost of the class includes snacks, drinks, all the ingredients you need, a sample of fire c***r to take home, and more.

UPDATE: WE WILL NOT HAVE BREAD IN THE FARM STAND THIS WEEK 10/1 - 10/7. Fresh bread will be delivered by The Bakery on Burr next Thursday, 10/8.
We're sorry for any disappointment this causes! But, if you find that you're missing your sourdough a little extra this week, consider pre-ordering for next week!!

Farmer Emilia helped do a last haul before this storm hits! Listen, I don't know how bad it's going to be, but I do know that I do NOT want to do my last minute grocery shopping at any grocery store right now. Lines, grumpy humans, empty shelves...no thanks!
Come get your weekend storm groceries at the Fishbowl. We are stocked on bread, eggs, veggies, and meat (chicken soup, anyone???). And stay dry out there!!

We'll see you all tomorrow from 9:00-1:00! If you haven't come out yet to check out the market, it really is one of the nicest markets I've been to- very relaxed, great vendors, live music. They do a great job!! The weather tomorrow is supposed to be beautiful so come by and enjoy!

It's been a busy weekend on the farm- we had an amazing night cooking and canning on Friday night, and planted out many of our fall crops just in time for that torrential downpour today!
Our 🌻 sunflower patch 🌻 is finally popping! Cut bunches are available in the farm stand for $10. If you'd like to come and pick your own, text Nina at 203-520-7272.
