Rest & Recovery!

We are huge proponents of pasture rotation around here. Giving the forage time to bounce back builds deeper roots and healthier soil. 🌿

Hey Ranch Family!!!

We realized it’s been a while since we shared the faces behind Sachse Family Angus, so we wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves! 🤝

Raising quality cattle isn’t just a business for us: it’s our way of life. From early morning checks to planning the next generation of genetics, every decision we make is driven by our commitment to serving you and adding value to your operations. We’re proud to be a family-run outfit, and we’re even prouder of the relationships we’ve built with ranchers across the country.

Drop a comment and tell us about your own family operation or what you’re working on this season. We’re so grateful to have you as part of our community.

We recently received this update from Jerry B. over in Oklahoma who purchased a bull from us last summer.

"John, update on the bull we bought last July. We now have 3 calves on the ground with no problems. We named him thunder after the NBA team OKC Thunder. He is very gentle and docile just as you said. He eats out of our hand and is a big baby. Hope all is well with your family."

Hearing that Thunder is living up to his gentle reputation (and even eating out of hand!) is exactly why we do what we do. Our goal is always to provide cattle that are not only high-performing but also a pleasure to have on the ranch.

Thank you, Jerry, for trusting us with your herd and for sharing this update! We love staying connected with our Ranch Family and seeing how these genetics are working for you.

We are down to our final two! 🐂

It's been a busy season here at the ranch, and we are incredibly grateful for the trust our customers place in our genetics. We currently have just two bulls remaining available via private treaty.

One of these final bulls is a direct son of the impressive EZAR Gettysburg 1061, pictured here. If you are looking to add some serious power and proven performance to your herd, these guys are ready to go to work for you.

We love getting to know our fellow ranchers and helping you find the right fit for your operation. Send us a DM to start the conversation about how we can help serve your needs. We’d love to have you over. Our door is always open for you!

They say the cattle business is about the livestock, but after all these years, we know the truth: it’s actually all about the people. 🤝

I was looking at this photo from about 10 years ago, talking to a tour group here at the ranch. A lot has changed since then: the bulls have gotten better and the technology has evolved. However, the core of Sachse Family Angus remains exactly the same.

Our mission has always been to serve and add value to those around us. Whether we’re hosting a tour, chatting over the fence, or helping a neighbor find their next herd sire, it’s the relationships that keep us going.

The gate is always open, the coffee is always on, and we’re still here to talk shop just like we were a decade ago.

Buying a bull is one of the most important investments you’ll make for your herd this year: so why rush it? 🤝

We’ve all been there: the fast-paced auction ring, the loud chanting, or the digital clock ticking down on a screen. It’s high-pressure, it’s fast, and sometimes you’re left wondering if you made the right call before the hammer fell. That's why we prefer the private treaty route.

When you come out to the ranch to look at our registered Angus bulls, there’s no pressure. You can:
✅ Sit on the fence and watch a bull move for 20 minutes to see his true stride.
✅ Walk the pens at your own pace without the noise of a crowd.
✅ Talk shop with John about EPDs, maternal traits, and calving ease.
✅ Take the time to ensure the bull you pick is the perfect genetic fit for your specific cows.

This is more than a transaction; it’s about finding the right herd sire to move your program forward. Whether you’re a commercial cattleman looking for more pounds at weaning or a seedstock producer focused on maternal excellence, we want you to be 100% confident in your investment.
