Calf #2 of the year was born yesterday! This cow is a first time mama, so we’re thankful all went well 😃 Tonight we got the calf castrated and tagged. Jackson enjoyed chasing the chickens around afterwards while we got all the eggs from today 🤗

Our 75 future egg layers were moved out to grass last week 🤗 We decided to try a new breed this time so it’ll be exciting to have some variety in the flock once they’re full grown and combined with the others. They will start laying around December/January so it’ll be perfect timing to combat any of the normal slower egg laying that winter usually brings 😃

We are taking orders now for our pasture raised chicken 😋 We are doing a much smaller batch this fall, so quantities will be LIMITED‼️ Meat will be ready mid November, so there’s plenty of time to save up and make room in the freezer 🤩 Let us know how many you’d like to order and we will get as many people on our list as possible!

What a summer it’s been! Been inactive on here, but we’ve still been working hard the last few months 😃 June started off with terrible 1st trimester sickness for me, while July and August heat had our chickens barely laying eggs. They now have a fan keeping them cool to reduce heat stress! We had piglets decide to start nursing a cow 😂, and one calf has been born so far with 4 more on the way over the next few months 🥰 Got MORE laying chicks that will start laying eggs this winter! 🍳 Also, our pork is fully restocked and ready for purchase 🥓 There’s never a dull moment over here! Life has just been so full lately so we took some time off from social media. Enjoy some updates and pictures from the summer ☀️

If you get eggs from us, please save them to return and even if you don’t get eggs from us, it would be a big help if you’d save yours for us to reuse 😃 They can be dropped off anytime!
