Beedle Farms is a small, fully operational farm and homestead owned and operated by Kevin and Alicia Beedle in a small city outside of Richmond MI. This little rural upstart is working to become a fully self sufficient and operational farm. Goods and services provided include educational classes in a multitude of topics ranging from modern industrial practices and process improvements, to basics o
f planting and growing. By utilizing a variety of organic farming methods Beedle Farms will have select produce available year around. While we are not seeking out Organic Certification, all of our farming practices are fully organic, from the soils we use to the compost and fertilizers, and almost everything is produced here on our homestead with a minimum of external inputs. He was born in the late 1980's and lived his childhood and early adulthood in the rural south where he learned practiced many methods of subsistence farming and homesteading practices. For much of his adult life he has served his country and his community including a stint in US Army National Guard as a Combat Medic, A volunteer firefighter and EMT, and has a made a successful career of being a 911 First Responder. Farming and self Reliance has a been a staple of his life from the very beginning and is something that continues to drive his mission today of serving his local community and providing the people with access to healthy and real food. Alicia Beedle is a Detroit area native, living out her early life on Detroit's west side. She graduated Cum Laude from Kaplan University with her bachelors degree in legal studies. She currently works full time for a top ranking law firm in southeast Michigan. Alicia and Kevin Have five beautiful children and stay actively engaged in their community.
