BerryKnoll Pick-Your-Own

BerryKnoll Pick-Your-Own Pick-your-own blueberries, black currants, red currants, white currants, and gooseberries. Choose among 300 different daylily plants to brighten your yard.

From mid-July to late August, BerryKnoll is open for Pick-Your-Own, mainly blueberries, and to select daylily plants. We are located in tiny Eaton, just east on Conway, NH, and a mile from the Maine border. We are 3 1/2 miles from the Eaton town beach intersection with Rt. 153 and Brownfield Rd. A GPS setting for 67 Old Portland Rd. may get you here, but be sure you put the town of Eaton, not Freedom, which has a road of the same name.

The blueberry season has come to a close. There aren't even enough left out there for the birds to enjoy. Thankfully the invasive fruit fly never showed up this year. We are grateful for that and for the continued support of our customers. It is such a joy to reconnect with people, meet new people, and see children who came at first as toddlers arrive now as young adults. We look forward to seeing you all next blueberry season--just 11 months away!

There are dwindling amounts of blueberries left as the season draws to a close. There are some berries up high, or low on the bushes, or between branches, but there are not enough to drive any distance to pick. About 40% of the bushes didn't bear fruit this year, but at least the insect didn't invade.

All are welcome to come pick whatever you can find here and there for the next few days. Thank you for supporting us at BerryKnoll and local agriculture.

The blueberries have ripened nicely and some of the later varieties in Field 3 are ready to pick as well. Taste them first to be sure they are nice and sweet. Come and get 'em!

Berries need a pause this week to ripen. They have been very heavily picked this past week, so we advise waiting till the end of the week to get the best sweetest berries, especially if you are looking for larger quantities.
