Got a little bit of wheat done today. Balers will have this cleaned up tomorrow and double crop beans will take its place Thursday if all goes well.

He was and still is a great Dad and Papaw. He unconditionally loved us with all he had up til the very last day. I wish he could come back and visit at least, to see his grand babies thriving, to drive the combine and I drive the semi for a change, to cuss at something he’s trying to fix or just sit on the porch and have a beer with me while we watch the corn grow. If you still have one with you, wrap your arms around them tight and let him know you love him….you just never know these days.

We miss you down here! Happy Father’s Day!!!

Food for thought….pun intended.

Farmers don’t want bailouts, we want a fair market, inputs and outputs, being paid fairly for what we do. The middleman is breaking producers and consumers, pitting us against each other while our government watches it happen laughing all the way to the bank.
