This view will truly never get old!
Magical terraced gardens, glorious fruit trees and vines, a view of the lake, and the sun setting warmly in the forest.

The beds are slowly coming back to life, revealing the beautiful glacial till that stays tucked beneath cover over the cool winter months. Seeds have been started, visions for the season are in full swing, and my heart is bursting at its seams. ✨🌸

Cheers to the 2026 growing season, farm friends!

hOMe. Sweet. Mountaintop hOMe.

We never get tired of sinking our hands into your soil.
Building you up with fresh, stinky compost.
Filling you with greens, purples, yellows, and pinks — little bursts of life everywhere.
You’re with us when we hurt.
You lift us as we heal.
And with every sunset, you remind us how much there is to be thankful for.

Let the week of solstice begin! ✨🌞 We welcome summer with everything we have!

Spring has officially arrived on the mountain, and after a long, bizarre winter, Happi Hippi Homestead is bursting at the seams with life once again. The mountainside is green, the air is full of promise, and we can all feel just how special this growing season will be.

This year, we made a shift — stepping away from produce farming and back into the world that first captured our hearts: homesteading. A slower, more intentional life rooted in health, happiness, and community.

Already this spring, we’ve been sowing the seeds of longevity — planting 20+ new fruit trees and shrubs, lining the hills with rows upon rows of raspberries, and and filling our bellies with spring greens galore. Every plant, every seedling, every nutritious meal — it’s all a quiet prayer for abundance and a thriving future.

We’re manifesting a year filled with real food, medicine, and a deeper kind of abundance — one we are honored to share with our mountaintop family.

Back to our roots. Back to what matters most!

Spring greens are just around the corner! 🥬✨

As we eagerly prepare for the start of the 2025 growing season, we’re reminded of the incredible power of high-quality, nutrient-dense food to sustain both body and mind. After navigating two challenging years of chronic physical and neurological illness due to biotoxin exposure (which we are still living with daily), this season is all about going back to basics—prioritizing nourishment for our family first.

Food is so much more than sustenance. It’s the foundation of optimal health and happiness, fueling our bodies and supporting our ability to thrive in the face of life’s challenges. This is why we do what we do—because we believe that access to fresh, nutrient-dense foods is essential for the health and well-being of individuals and entire communities.

We’re looking forward to a summer filled with vibrant, fresh vegetables and the satisfaction of preserving that goodness for the cooler months next year. Here’s to a season of health, growth, and abundance 🌱✨

Happy Thanksgiving! ✨🦃

Today, we reflect on what an honor it is to advocate for and educate about food sovereignty in our rural Washington communities. All while feeding the people we love!

And most of all, we’re thankful for YOU—our incredible community!

Our family is wishing you a holiday filled with gratitude, connection, and plenty of fresh, LOCAL food!

Tickets for the Gather + Grow Fall Fundraising Dinner this Sunday are SOLD OUT. We appreciate the community's support, and look forward to sharing a beautiful evening with you all as we celebrate community + our market.

It is our mission to support and showcase our amazingly hardworking local farmers. We are pleased to share that all of the produce for our meal was grown by our local small family farms! Your dinner will feature stunning, organically-grown fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms.

Featured farms include Vienna Gardens, Ten of Cups Farms, Happi Hippi Homestead, 3 Dog Cider / Brewstillery, Newalkum Valley Farms, and Puget Sound Mushrooms!

A special thank you to Cowlitz Falls Lavender Company and Thompson's Farm & Market for our beautiful centerpieces, and to Farm + Flourish for connecting us to local farmers outside of East Lewis Co.
