Winemaker John Adams has been growing his grapes in the Puget Sound Appellation and making wine since 1992. Stringtown Cellars was opened in late 2007
with the label "the Winery at the Farm". John
also operates Stringtown Lavender Farm
which is the location of the vineyard. Stringtown Cellars handcrafts wines in small lots for a variety of styles and tastes, using grapes grown at the

farm vineyard and from eastern Washington. They are a small lavender farm in Pierce County growing nine (9) varieties of lavender (both English and hybrid).
