Circle H Farm and End of the road processing We are a local, family owned farm in southwest Michigan.

We have raised hogs and chickens for two generations, and are wanting to share the products and experiences we have had over the years with others.

Everyone meet Clarence.....hide your snacks, button your pockets, and put everything in containers that require thumbs. He is agile like a panther, soft footed like a hare, and will sneek into your barn to rob you of anything edible, especially anything dressed with molasses. He uses his cute looks to give you a false sense of security till you hear the dreaded crinkle of a feed bag being opened....then its a mad dash to the barn usually in just enough time to see him jumping the gate or standing there with his cheeks so full you question if he is cousin to a chipmunk 🐿 if you see us at the feed mill sooner than later you now know why 🥴

Cowie, our micro-mini hereford, decided to try establishing his place in the cow pecking order....poor dude is just a little ol'cupcake. He gave it his all but I don't think Mudbug took him seriously at all 🤦‍♀️

Get goats they said, it'll be fun they said....oh the lies! Goats are a fun addition to our farm but boy oh boy do they test our patience and fencing abilities. Katie's favorite saying she learned in college is "if it can't hold smoke it can't hold a goat" so true 🫠

Finally getting our first cutting down 😊 This year has been very different without dad acting as the drill sargent for hay season but we have been figuring it with his guidance. He is not thrilled about being a passenger princess and has shoved his way into seat a time or two, but he is just about as happy as we are with him getting out and about. We didn't think he would able to be on a tractor this season at all so just seeing that has made being in the heat, the frustrations and bickering all worth it. Happy hay season everyone 🚜🌞 🚜🌞

This is how you keep your bacon bits from over crisping in a heat wave. First you soak them, make a nice little gravy mud pit, and repeat. Needless to say our piggies were very happy to have some cool water 😊
