Happy Monday! It's halfway through October already and time is flying. A sad reminder that we will be going back down to 3 days a week starting in three weeks (Nov 2). This apple season has flew by and we have had fun thanks to everyone who came to visit us. But it's not over yet! Here is where we're at this week!

Wednesday, we will be at Menomonie Farmers Market from 10am-4pm. This will be our last Wednesday Farmer's Market for the season so if you're not able to see us Saturday, make sure to visit us on Wednesday.

Saturday is our last market at Menomonie Farmers Market from 8am-1pm. This season has been fun and we can't wait to celebrate the last Menomonie Market with you.

We will also be at Elk Mound Booster Club's Craft Show on Saturday from 9am-2pm. Come visit local vendors and support the Elk Mound Booster Club!

As a reminder, our store on Highway 53 in South Eau Claire will be open 9am-5pm! Thank you, our followers, for being amazing and supporting us! If you haven't, give us a follow and like us! Come get a taste!

We had a busy day yesterday preparing for the Governor of Wisconsin coming to visit our orchard and talk about the importance of Agri-tourism. Agri-tourism is vital in keeping farms and orchards alive and thriving because without farms and farmers, where does our food come from? Supporting small farms and orchards like ours allows us to share and make products that our fans and followers know and love.

We understand that there may be some political outcomes that may come with this visit but we want people out there to know where AVEnue Orchard stands. We are humans, people who pour their hearts and souls spreading love into our product and with every customer who visit us. Ronnie Appleseed and his daughter Misty are two of the most passionate, generous people you'll ever meet.

People have opinions and it's okay to express them. What is not okay is being disrespectful and rude because this is not what AVEnue Orchard stands for. We are all humans and being different is amazing! But if you are being disrespectful, we will delete your comment.

Happy Monday everyone! We had an amazing weekend! Thank you again everyone who came out to support us on such a rainy day. Here is where you can find us this week outside of our store!

Wednesday, we will be at Menomonie Farmers Market from 10am-4pm.

We will also be in Minnesota at Stillwater Flea Market from 9am-3pm Saturday and Sunday. This will be our last market in Stillwater for the year so make sure you swing by to pick up your favorite AVEnue product!

Our store is open 7 days a week from 9am-5pm and when the weather is nice, our U Pick is open! If you are looking for a certain apple, please do not hesitate to reach out to us! We can't wait to see you!

Happy Friday and tomorrow is our big event; 5th Annual Taste Of The Orchard! WWIB got to have a sneak peek at some of the items that we will be sampling tomorrow!

We have a lot of new followers so for those of you that were not around last Christmas, we had our Norwegian items for sale. I can say with humor that we did not want to start this because we knew when you guys got a taste, it was all over. I personally am a huge potato lover but I never had lefsa until last year. I was gifted a dozen pack and I cherished every single bite and was sad when I pulled the last one, knowing I couldn't have deliciousness for another year. You think it's a bit dramatic until you have one and then you'll understand my joy then sadness of not having another one. Don't let it happen to you!

We are taking preorders for all of our holiday items! Pies, Christmas cookie trays and our Norwegian products are going to be able to sample and you'll be able to preorder right there. Pay at pick up!

Happy Wednesday everyone! We are 4 days away from our Taste of the Orchard and today we are featuring a product we don't talk about too often; our Freeze Dried Products!

Freeze drying is one of the newest adventures we have been taking the past couple of years and it has been fun and interesting. I'm not going to use too many science terms but freeze drying is so unique! It takes a food item, freezes it down to -30 degrees and in an explosive reaction called "Sublimation" turns all of the water in the food into gas and removes it from the food. Unlike dehydrating food, which uses heat to remove the water, the nutritional value of the food barely changes when you're freeze drying! All of the vitamins and fibers in our fruits and vegetables stay almost the same!

You may have noticed that we have pulled back on our freeze dried candy and the reason for that is because we are focusing more on our dessert line! The freeze dried cheesecakes and cookie bites have been such a big hit that we don't have time to come out with new desserts. But don't you worry, we have big plans this upcoming winter so make sure you follow us so you don't miss it!
