Meet Sir Rupert, who I will be calling Ron. He's in need of a good grooming to get rid of some matting, but I look forward to getting him cleaned up and eventually making some really fabulous yarn 😍 Some of you may remember Gertie, unfortunately she passed away a couple years ago, likely from wool block. But recently the opportunity to take care of another English Angora came up and I couldn't say no! Ron is settling in well and did great for his first grooming session.

Fresh pasture day! The pastures are doing really well this year, recovering much faster than they did last year. It's so fun to watch the lambs dive in and disappear in the grass 😂

Hooray for learning new skills! First time making hay, things went nice and smooth (thanks to Mr. Felson Knoll's wonderful mechanical skills). Now we cross our fingers for decent drying weather.

Would you guess that 8 year old hens still lay eggs? This is Edna, she's one of three remaining chickens I got "way back" in 2018. And yes, she still lays eggs! I have quite a few hens that moved here with us in 2020. I appreciate the wisdom they add to the flock even if their egg production does slow down as they age.

I haven't stopped taking pictures, I've just stopped posting them. Wanting to fit into the updated social media frameworks and follow what others are doing. Hoping to come up with the "perfect" caption or post. Why? It sounds even dumber when put into words. I like taking pictures. So I'm going to "challenge" myself to just post the dang pictures instead of hoarding them on my phone. So here ya go! 😂 Isn't Spring gorgeous! 😍 Thank you God for these blessings!
