Its that time of year, that we are all getting ready, preserving our gardens, putting up fire wood, having those end of the year outside gatherings, watching the trees change colors, and our gardens die. Get out those hoodies, enjoy the fall, snow is coming.

Linden trees and Berries a normally overlooked wild edible, the spring leaves taste and are like lettuce, the flowers make a great tea, and these hard bitter berries can be roasted and ground for a chocolate or cocoa substitute. Once ground they only hold their flavor for about a day so only grind before using. The berries are also a great winter cold & flu remedy. There has been no studies as to nutritional value, known to me. They are very abundant right now, if you felt like giving them a try.

I don't have any "building skills" and we had a hammer and a sawzaw, LoL. So no you should do this comments please, we will learn as we go...we have all the sides done and are working on the roof. All the wood came from the old New Moon Bar's deck, six pounds of .89 a pound nails so we are into it about $5 not including the gas to get the wood.
