We are growing this portion of the offerings at the Farm, we have grown many more varieties for our produce fields, but these are what we’re offering for sale this year. Next year we will be offering many varieties, let us know if there is something you’re interested in, and we can add it!
These were transplanted to 4”x3.5” and 4”x4.5” Cow Pots made from cow manure. They have built in fertilizer and the organic matter helps build a better soil profile.
PRO TIP: We do not recommend planting nightshades (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant) in cold soil, they stop growing and stunt. Instead, purchase now, and wait until late May/early June, or better yet, Father’s Day, then plant the Cow Pots directly in to your garden and you will be gifted with far larger harvests as a thank you for your patience.
$5.00 larger Cow Pot tomatoes
$4.00 smaller Cow Pots, peat pots, and plastic pots peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, herbs
Let us know if you need any plants and we will pull your order together!
We are growing other plants that will be ready as the season progresses, including for late Summer planting for Fall harvest, and many more herbs soon to be shifted in to larger containers. Stay tuned!
