Finally finished my "recovery" project. Back the first week of February I tore my quadricep tendon. It's a long recovery, and can't lift a lot or be on my feet for long. So I decided that a small model strip canoe can get me out and moving and break up the boredom.

Pine with accent strips and rubbing in walnut.

Didn't come out too bad considering it was my first attempt.

Built and installed an ash bar and floating shelves for some friends!!! Soft close drawer and door hinges along with a soft close pull out drawer in the bottom. Had some issues with a seriously wonky wall (seriously a 3/8 wave in 2 places!) but was able to work around it.
Should be able to enjoy this for years to come!

Finished the side tables for the house!!! now the coffee tables and side/end tables match! Really like the maple accent strip with the walnut. Made these out of mostly scraps of 6/4 walnut, so couldn't do too much grain matching, but I think they came out looking good. Love the feathering in the one center strip of Walnut, ya gotta see it in person to appreciate!
