A few random things! 🐽 We were originally scheduled to be in a vendor event this weekend but it was postponed so we won’t be setting up anywhere. However, I may schedule a pork pickup at the farm in the next week or two so stay tuned! In the meantime, if you’d like to place a preorder and pickup one evening please let me know! 🥓

We have a long list of things to do on the farm that will keep us plenty busy this weekend. Plus we have plans to celebrate some of our favorite dads. 💙 We’re also taking a load of hogs to the processor on Sunday so we’ll be restocking breakfast sausage soon!

Is there any interest in USDA ground beef?? 🐄 This would mean you could buy one pack at a time (or however much you wanted). How much would you guys expect to pay per pound? 💰

Our breeding/farrowing pens are in the awkward stage where the rye grass has died and the summer grass hasn’t caught up. I’m thinking maybe we should try a cool season seed mix next fall. Maybe rye grass and something else that would live longer into the summer? Is that a thing? 🫣 Sounds like a good idea to me. 😅 These are heavier use areas which aren’t helping either though.

Lots of fun happening today at The Pointe!

First up, Miles for Meals 5k @ 8a. Then our summer Farmer's Market 8a-1p.
The Coffee Cow, Velvet Kitchen on Wheels, Sonny's Italian Ice and Bounce House Co will be gracing us with their presence.
And last but not least, Smith & Buck live 3-6!
We have a full day planned and we are here for it.

‼️Just a reminder that we’ll be set up at The Pointe at Lake Jordan tomorrow from 8am-1pm for their summer farmer’s market! 🧑‍🌾 We have lots of pork in stock including bacon, kielbasa, pork chops, Boston butt and tenderloin. 🥓

Don’t forget, we’ll be set up at The Pointe this weekend! We have lots of pork in stock but are running low on mild breakfast sausage.

We have 2 events planned for this Saturday 6/6!
To be clear....so there aren't any mishaps, we ask that all vendors be set up and ready to go by 8a.
Last year vendors were moving in as runners were headed out.
That way the spectators can browse before their loved ones cross the finish line.
We want to keep everyone as safe as possible.
So we hope you make plans to join us.

Harper and Barrett will also be selling some mouse ear hostas (plants) that they are potting this afternoon with their Gammy.🪴They are saving their own money for some fun stuff this summer! 🏕️🍦

We are offering LOCAL PORK PICKUP at our farm this Sunday, May 17th from 4-6pm! We will have individual cuts of pork available to purchase as well as free range eggs, and Campbell Farm shirts and hats. Here’s a list of the pork cuts we’ll have:

Porkchops (bone-in, 2/pack) $10/lb
Bacon $12/lb
Mild Breakfast Sausage $7/lb
Chorizo $7/lb
Kielbasa $12/lb
Bratwursts $12/lb
Boston Butt $8/lb
Tenderloin (whole) $10/lb
