We have something exciting happening behind the scenes this week! Hint, hint: we are trying out one of our favorite recipesβ€”on camera! Keep an eye out for some sneak-peeks and the recipe itself soon. The official video will go live on the Fondy Famous Kooking with Kelly home-cooking show later this summer: Sunday, July 12th!

We think pizza makes the world go 'round here at Gourmet's Delight Mushrooms, and it's easy to see why. Start with a delicious crust, add high-quality tomato sauce and Wisconsin cheese, and adorn with our mushrooms and your other meat and veggie topping choices, and you've got a meal that fulfills most of the food groups. 😁

So, please pardon the regularly scheduled portobello content interruption. We had to let you all know that, if you're a W***y Street Co-op MEMBER, our sliced white button mushrooms are on sale right now at all three stores, May 25-31! Day 2! Crab-stuffed portobellos are our vice president Erica Floyd’s favorite way to enjoy ports, though she usually makes them with imitation crab in an attempt at frugality. If you have access to high-quality, genuine, fresh lump crabmeat, though, by all means--enjoy this indulgence with the real stuff!

Do you have extra portobellos from your Memorial Day weekend grilling spree? One of the most frequently asked questions we receive is how to enjoy portobellos in everyday dining. Besides simply grilling portobellos like burger patties or steaks and slapping them on delicious Sheboygan hard rolls or mashed potato beds (no shade--these are true Wisconsin grilling delicacies!), there are so many other ways to cook portobellos.

So, behold some of our favorite portobello recipes! We'll be posting portobello recipes this week, 4 ways over 4 days--just in time to stock up again on our ports at your nearest grocery store, co-op, the West Bend Farmers Market, or the Downtown Fond du Lac Farmers Market!

We tried ’s ramen recipe for the on Tuesday night! This was after peeping Matty’s motorcycle at in Milwaukee last weekend, so you could say we are fans.

Delicious umami, and prep that really shows off our mushrooms’ delectable flavor and texture. 10/10
