A bittersweet moment today. ❤️ I am working with our boy Krusher's fiber.

Working on separating our sweet Krushers fiber into the various shades to then be made into bundles.

It will then be gently washed and once dried combed into beautiful locks all ready for sending off to a special artist.

Gail Raines of Gigibeans will make beautiful, realistic doll hair with Krusher's fiber and this makes my heart so very happy.

I have been putting off working with his fiber since his loss. It is just hard, but what better way to honor his life than share his fiber with amazing artists like Gail where it will bring joy and happiness to so many others.

Off to wash this fiber and be oh so very grateful for being chosen to have had this beautiful animal in our care for so many years. ❤️

And just like that...the 2026 hatching season has come to an end.🥲🐣

The last two remaining guinea keets will be picked up tomorrow at noon.

We would like to thank everyone who supported our farm during this hatching season.

We so enjoy meeting all of you and either increasing your numbers of poultry or getting you started on your journey.

If you are interested in guinea keets, heritage breed chocolate turkeys, easter egger chicks or bobwhite quail chicks for 2027, contact us and we will put you on the contact list for next Spring.

No obligation. Just your contact info so we can let you know when we have babies available in the Spring of 2027.

Our focus now changes from hatching season to fiber processing season so stay tuned for all things alpaca llama and sheep fiber! 🦙🐑🧶

Squiggy and Laverne are looking for a new farm.🦚

6 yr old breeding pair of India Blue Peafowl.

Squiggy can be aggressive during breeding season so we prefer them going to an experienced farm.

Breeding season has just ended for this year and Squiggy has dropped his tail.

It is much easier to transport after breeding season and the tail having dropped.

Photo of Squiggy with his full tail as well as current photos.

PM for more details.
