Luckily we don't have to be farming to know what a beautiful day it is today!

We've been pretty quiet due to some challenges in the past months. Those challenges have also meant having to put our growing and farming dreams on hold for a while. We are so grateful for all your support over the last few years!

We will continue to encourage the following from our dearest clients and friends:

Buy local, organic, and from marginalized communities
Take care of yourselves
Care for others but not at the expense of your own well-being
(You can't pour from an empty cup)
Do more of what you love
and last but never least,
EAT YER VEGGIES!

Today, Wendi had the pleasure of visiting a classroom where she was able to talk a bit about poly culture, edible flowers, and spoon tomatoes! They were a huge hit with the 5th graders and were so glad so many were willing to try new things today. Catch us at Burdick’s Greenhouse tomorrow (Saturday) to try some yourself! We will be enjoying this last bit of gorgeous weather out there from noon-3.

Deer buffet consisted of almost all of our beets, all of our chard, and much of the corn last week. But hey, we got a few carrots. And some bugs. And some beautiful okra.

We are taking a break from delivering to our favorite eateries to say HEY! in person at the Silverwood Harvestfest, tomorrow (Saturday).
