🌻🐝 Every morning, thousands of honey bees are hard at work in our pumpkin patch. As the sun comes up, they move from flower to flower, pollinating the blossoms that will become this fall’s pumpkins. This year we have also added a small wildflower patch to keep them busy! The nectar they are busy collecting goes into the delicious honey at the farm. We can’t wait to see you all this fall so you can see all the pumpkins they helped us grow! Pray for some rain to keep the nectar flowing and pumpkins growing! 🎃

Today we planted all of the gourds, squash, and pumpkins. We had several family members all involved in the planting, driving tractor, and organizing the seeds. It takes so many dedicated people to help make this work. Now we wait for the rain to help the seeds grow . Can't wait to see them all grow! We look forward to seeing what all the new varieties turn out to look like.

The seeds are starting to come in the mail!!! We are going to try a few new things this year. We are going to plant a variety of cut wildflowers, a pumpkin called fireball, and lots of the customer favorites. Planting season is just a few months away. Who's excited besides me??!!
